Its a very simple trick to change the icon of RecycleBin of windows XP. To do this just follow the following steps:
You will see your recyclebin's icon has been changed.
- Open RegistryEditor by typing "regedit" at run or dos and hit enter.
- Now expand registry to: HKCU\software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\Explorer\CLSID\{645ff040-5081-101B-9F08-00AA002F954E}\DefaultIcon.
- Now here you will see there are two registries named "FULL" & "EMPTY".
- Full shows the icon when there is something in RecycleBin & Empty shows the icons when there is nothing in RecycleBin.
- Now here give the full-path of the Icons which you want for your recyclebin.
You will see your recyclebin's icon has been changed.
